Who we are

Better X/Twitter is a Chrome extension for desktop X (twitter.com / x.com). Developer contact: djwkakarot@gmail.com.

What the extension does

It runs locally in your browser to hide or rearrange UI on desktop X (promoted posts, Grok chrome, timeline grok posts, Discover more, media previews, view counts, Trends, optional Pin Following). It does not require signing into an X account.

Data we collect

We do not collect, sell, or transfer your browsing data, X content, cookies, or credentials.

• No X account tokens. The extension does not read or store X authentication tokens.
• No request sniffing. It does not intercept or log network traffic to build a profile of you.
• Local settings only. Toggle state and an optional license key you paste are stored in Chrome extension storage on your device.

Payments

A one-time license unlock is sold through Polar (polar.sh / org veedlure). Polar processes payment and issues a license key. That checkout is between you and Polar; we do not receive your card numbers. See Polar's own privacy policy for payment processing.

Third parties

Chrome Web Store hosts the listing and installs. Polar handles license checkout if you buy. The extension does not embed analytics SDKs or ad trackers.

Children's privacy

Not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

We may update this page when the product's data practices change. The Last updated date will change.
